Ms. Cimino's EL/ESL/Bilingual Class

Hi, My name is Valentina Cimino and I will be serving Bilingual students in 6th and 8th grades.  I moved to United States 20 years ago from a small town in Ecuador. In Ecuador I earned a Bachelor's Degree in International Trading. Here, I went back to school and got my teaching certificate. I also have a Master’s in Education with an ESL/ELL/Bilingual Endorsement. During my 13 years of teaching, I have acquired experience working in different positions as ESL, ELL, Bilingual, Dual Language, Reading Specialist and Spanish Teacher from Kindergarten to High School in the Northwest suburbs.  

Last year, I moved to Saint John, IN with my husband Tom, my son Joe and two beautiful fur babies Tebow and Angel. I am very excited to be part of the James Hart Homewood Community and the wonderful future ahead of us.
