Welcome to Mrs. Wargo's ELA class!
My name is Eileen Wargo. I student taught at James Hart School in the fall of 1998 and haven't left! I love this district and have thoroughly enjoyed spending my entire career here in Homewood. I grew up in the area and graduated from Illinois State University. I am married to Jason who is also a teacher. We have two boys ages 9 and 7 and a puppy named Jovie. In my spare time I love to be outside in the sun either swimming or biking. I also have a love for animals (dogs especially), cooking, taking photographs, and listening to music. Overall, my passion is teaching. I am determined to make sure the children who come through my classroom feel loved, cared for and are prepared academically for high school. I tell my students every year, they are my family. I will do anything and everything in my power to be sure the children are successful and acquire the skills necessary to have a positive school year.
